Tasting Notes

This grape produces fruity wines and is most commonly associated with peach, citrus, and tropical fruits. The thick skin provides a strong acidity, dryness, and subtle saltiness. Although the wine produces a strong aroma, it is a light colored and light bodied wine.

Pairings

Wines with Albariño grapes go well with light foods such as grilled seafood, oysters, or grilled vegetables. The wine is best served cold (45-49° F), but don’t be afraid to let it warm up. Cold temperatures give off mineral and beeswax flavors but when warm it’s more fruity.
