Cabernet Franc [cab-er-nay FRAHNK]
Our Cabernet Franc was planted in 2020 and 2021. We hope to have some available for sale by 2025.
Origin
Cabernet Franc is one of the parents of the more popular Cabernet Sauvignon (along with Sauvignon Blanc). It is widely planted in the mid-Atlantic and does well in our soils and humidity.
Tasting Notes
Though our own grapes are too young to taste, Cabernet Franc is known to be a beefy red with spicy notes.
