Gamay [gam-AY]
Origin
Gamay was first created in Burgundy, France. It is a cross between Pinot Noir and Gouais Blanc. It is the prinicipal grape in Beaujolais wines.
Tasting Notes
Our Gamay is a favorite of the local groundhog population, so we haven’t really had much of a chance to get a flavor profile. Check back later to see if we can get a crop in 2024!
